With a career expanding over 33 years, Miyoshi worked as a Deputy Probation Officer with probation adolescents and their families. In 2007, Miyoshi received her Master of Science degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, after discovering that the youth and their families she served were not receiving adequate mental health services to address their generational history of trauma. For spiritual support services, Miyoshi received her second master's degree in Revelation Studies in 2026.
Miyoshi provided over eight years mental health therapy to probation youth and their families, and training to probation officers until her retirement in 2022.
With a newfound vision to start her mental health business, while sharing her passion to educate and dispel the myth of mental health therapy, Miyoshi has been featured on the International Talk Radio Network at https://itrnradio.com/ on the Mindful Mondays podcast. Her presentations included topics such as youth suicide, managing stress, and sex abuse. Additionally, Miyoshi has been invited to speak as a panel expert and presenter with organizations such as Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated, Los Angeles County Probation Department, California State University, Los Angeles (CSULA), the University of Southern California (USC), National Council of Negro Women (NCNW – Los Angeles), StyldLife Crown Club, and Grace Chapel Church of God In Christ.
In 2021, Miyoshi published “The Love Thyself Therapy Journal”. Its purpose is to discover how to learn, love, and be comfortable with oneself through daily journaling writing prompts. She is also writing a series of children books, along with books that teach self-care, self-esteem, and self-sufficiency.
